What do we do with another NHL season behind us?
Now that another NHL season has concluded, many of us who truly love the sport are pondering what to do with ourselves during the offseason.
Besides working, eating, and sleeping, what is it that will pull us through the duldrum that is life without the NHL.
10. The Summer Olympics will be a huge television draw for many sports enthusiasts. For us north of the border though the javelin might need to pierce something more than the ground to keep our interest.

Draft Lottery Winners and Losers
9. Look forward to a nice sun filled vacation. Many people who live outside of Canada might question why we would vacation in a hot destination during our own summer. Hockey duh!!
8. Go on a few dates. You have a bit more time on your hands, now that you are not plugged to the television every Saturday night. Your date might even fall for you before they realize your addiction to your favorite NHL team.
7. Go camping. Bring out your custom tent and sleeping bag which have the logo of your favorite NHL team along the side. Become one with nature while humming the tune to Hockey Night in Canada.
6. Do some late spring cleaning. Now that the season has passed, we can clean out the storage closet, and make some room for all our prized posessions which include our favorite team jersey, team flags, blow horns etc.
5. Call our mom. She has been wondering where we have been from fall to spring, so better give the old girl a call and let her know that we are alright, and that we love her.
4. Shave our beards. Crosby did...
3. Pull out the net and gear, and play some road hockey. Get your neighbours out and play as your favorite NHL player. WARNING trying to pull a real life Hasek move on pavement could result in serious injury...
2. Golf...yes we love our golf, and the players are doing it (some earlier than others)
1. Throw out all your band wagon jumping merchandise.
