Denis Suarez Says 'Let Them Keep Talking' Amid Report Arsenal Will Cancel Loan

Denis Suarez has taken to social media to seemingly dismiss a report that he would be sent back to Barcelona before the end of his Arsenal loan spell. 

The Sun's Mark Irwin reported the Gunners could bring a premature end to his loan after a difficult start to life in England following his arrival in January.

However, per Goal's Stephen Darwin, in apparent reference to the speculation, Suarez posted a photo of himself smiling in training with Arsenal and a telling caption:

The Spaniard is only on loan for the second half of the season.

He has failed to make an impact at Arsenal thus far, though, having made just only appearances. All of them have been as a substitute, and he has played a combined total of just 95 minutes.

His most recent outing came in the Gunners' 2-0 win over Manchester United in the Premier League, and Football.London's James Benge thought his cameo was telling:

Kim Kallstrom spent half the 2013-14 season on loan at Arsenal from Spartak Moscow, but a back injury limited him to just four appearances.

In February, Arsenal boss Unai Emery said Suarez is taking time to adapt to English football.

Per James Olley of the Evening Standard, he said: "He is working every day, improving and knowing us. My philosophy is that adaptation needs time, and after, little-by-little, he will grow confidence and know his team-mates in training and after playing matches."

It's understandable he's had trouble hitting the ground running, as he had played just eight times for Barcelona in the first half of the campaign—only twice from the start—so match fitness will have been an issue.

He can be a versatile and creative player when he's up and running, though, so he could still play a role with the Gunners in the coming months if he can find his feet soon.
