Liverpool Transfer News: Roma Open Door to Alisson Exit Amid Real Madrid Rumours
AS Roma general manager Mauro Baldissoni has given a hint that star goalkeeper Alisson Becker could be sold, amid persistent rumours linking the Brazilian with Liverpool and Real Madrid.
Baldissoni spoke to Sky Italia (via Calciomercato.com's Jordan Russell) and admitted offers will be assessed, and in the right situation, Alisson could leave:
"The higher our revenue is, the more competitive we will be. We are committed to growing the club, and selling players can help us do to this sometimes. It is a tactic used by many clubs. Our results have proved us right and we will continue on this path.
"Alisson? The club will decide whether we want to sell him based on what is being offered to us, as well as the player’s will. If everyone has an agreement, then a decision will be made. Florenzi? We think Monchi is the best sporting director in Europe. He will make the appropriate assessments."

Roma have been denying rumours surrounding the former Internacional man for weeks, and club president James Pallotta recently said he wasn't for sale at any price, per Sky Italia (via Goal's Chris Burton).
These latest comments are a major change of direction for Roma, who have been hit by financial fair play penalties and missed a target earlier this season, per Football Italia. They've also sold several key players, including Mohamed Salah, who joined Liverpool in the summer.
Alisson is their latest star and perhaps their most valuable yet. The 25-year-old has emerged as one of the best goalkeepers in Europe this year, peaking just as a number of top clubs appear to be looking for a dependable option in the net.

Real and Liverpool have been linked with the Brazil international at length, and Paris Saint-Germain are also expected to move for a goalkeeper in the summer.
Alisson played a massive role in Roma's unexpected run to the UEFA Champions League final, underlining his importance to the team:
But he was a mere backup a year ago, playing second fiddle to Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny. The former Arsenal man joined Juventus in the summer, opening up a spot for Alisson.
With Monchi running the show, the Giallorossi will like their chances of unearthing another talented stopper who could replace Alisson―they did it with Szczesny, after all.
One has to believe Roma will cash in for the right fee, but that price will be sky-high after a major breakout season.
