Former Bills Team President Russ Brandon's Departure to Be Discussed by NFL
The NFL will look into the circumstances of former team president Russ Brandon's resignation, the Associated Press' John Wawrow reported Thursday.
Brandon, who also had an oversight role with the Buffalo Sabres, confirmed to the Buffalo News' Tim Graham on Tuesday he was leaving Pegula Sports and Entertainment. According to Graham, the company had "conducted an internal investigation into Brandon's workplace behavior and allegations of personal misconduct" prior to his departure.
Wawrow reported Brandon is alleged to have had an inappropriate relationship with a female Bills team employee, and Wawrow spoke to two sources who said Brandon was "confronted about the relationship by team owners Terry and Kim Pegula."

Graham had also reported Kim Pegula personally asked Brandon about the allegations. Although Brandon denied them, the team's internal investigation found he was "deceitful about that and other job-related issues that were uncovered."
Brandon told Wawrow he had decided to step down from his post with the Bills following the 2018 NFL draft and declined to comment further on the allegations against him.
Brandon had been with the Bills since 1997 and was named team president in 2013. He took the same position with the Sabres in 2015. Both the Bills and Sabres fall under the Pegula Sports and Entertainment umbrella.
