Atlanta Falcons fans may have viewed Julio Jones deleting Falcons-related posts from his Instagram account as a sign the star receiver was not happy with the franchise.

However, Atlanta general manager Thomas Dimitroff isn't reading too much into it, according to ESPN's Vaughn McClure:

"Julio and the organization are doing very well. I'm not concerned one bit about any of the social media. I think we're in a great spot. He had very good discussions with [coach] Dan [Quinn]. And we're in a great spot."

Jones has not shown up to any of the team's voluntary workouts yet this offseason. Notice the key word, though.

"They're voluntary, of course,'' Dimitroff said, per McClure. "Again, we feel very comfortable with where we are with Julio and how he perceives everything.''

Sure, teams want every player to attend every single workout, practice and game. But unless it's mandatory, it's up to the players to decide if they want to show up.

Per McClure, there has been talk that Jones is unhappy with his current contract. The sixth-overall pick in 2011, the 6'3", 220-pound wideout signed a five-year, $71.25 million extension with the team back in 2015.

Jones had 88 catches for 1,444 yards and three touchdowns in 2017, giving him 585 catches for 9,054 yards and 43 scores through the first seven seasons of his career. The five-time Pro Bowler has helped the Falcons reach the playoffs four times, including a Super Bowl appearance.

Atlanta added another former Alabama star wideout at the 2018 NFL draft this week, taking Calvin Ridley with the No. 26 overall pick. The team is hoping the All-Pro can mentor a fellow Crimson Tide product and become a dynamic duo.

It's not known if or when Jones will join his teammates at workouts. The Falcons' mandatory minicamp gets underway on June 12, so if he's not in attendance at that point, that's when the team will have something to worry about.
