Chennai Super Kings (182/3) beat Sunrisers Hyderabad (178/6) by four runs

Both teams came into the match with three wins apiece, and Sunrisers Hyderabad opted to field after winning the toss.

Chennai Super Kings struggled initially and lost openers Faf Du Plessis and Shane Watson pretty cheaply.

However, Ambati Rayudu and Suresh Raina came in and, with an 112-run partnership, managed to fire their team to 182.

Rayudu was the star man as he hit 79 runs off just 37 balls. Cricketer Mohammad Kaif said he'd played the innings of his life:

However, he was eventually forced out in pretty strange circumstances when he tried to sneak a run on an overthrow but was run out.

Captain Kane Williamson did his best to inspire Sunrisers Hyderabad to victory as he hit 84 off just 51 balls. However, his departure left his team still needing 33 off 12 balls, per Sky Sports Cricket:

It was to prove a nervy finish, but Sunrisers Hyderabad could not quite do enough and Chennai Super Kings pulled off yet another tense win.

Rajasthan Royals (168/7) beat Mumbai Indians (167/7) by three wickets

Mumbai Indians won the toss and opted to bat, although they promptly lost Evin Lewis to a golden duck in the first over.

Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan did manage to put together a 129-run partnership and looked to be on target for a big score. However, the Rajasthan Royals hit back and took six wickets in the last five overs as Mumbai finished on 167/7.

ESPNcricinfo showed how they crumbled:

Jofra Archer enjoyed a brilliant debut, claiming three wickets in the 19th over to limit Mumbai and give his team a reasonable target to chase.

Rajasthan Royals got off to a shaky start. They lost Rahul Tripathi for just nine, and Ajinkya Rahane followed in the fifth over.

Sanju Samson and Ben Stokes helped steady proceedings and set the team on course for victory. However, the return of Jasprit Bumrah to the attack set up a nervy finale.

Bumrah claimed Samson and Jos Buttler on successive deliveries to rattle Mumbai. ESPNcricinfo showed what an impressive effort it was:

It was left to Krishnappa Gowtham and Arthur to help the team over the finish line. Gowtham showed no nerves to hit 33 off just 11 balls. Sky Sports Cricket noted how he sealed the win in some style:

The result leaves Mumbai with just one win in five games, while Rajasthan Royals pick up their third victory of the campaign so far.
