The 2018 Masters is set for a thrilling final day at the Augusta National Golf Club as the world's top golfers bid to claim the famous green jacket.

America's Patrick Reed has enjoyed a brilliant tournament so far. His impressive 66 on Friday saw him hit nine birdies, and he remained in good form on Saturday with a 67.

The Masters Tournament showed just how well he was playing:

Saturday's wet conditions seemed to affect him as he bogeyed the 12th as the rain arrived. However, he adjusted quickly with a stunning 15-foot putt at the 13th.

Sky Sports Golf showed him in action:

The American then got even better as two birdies in three holes saw him stretch his lead, per the PGA Tour:

However, he could not maintain his five-point advantage and goes into Sunday's showdown with a three-shot lead over Rory McIlroy.

Reed has shown he can handle the conditions at Augusta, but he will have to handle the pressure too if he is to claim glory on Sunday.

The American has played with composure and confidence throughout, and it looks as though it may take something special to beat him.

McIlroy remains in contention, and he will be hoping he can take the title and complete a career Grand Slam of all four major titles.

Sports writer Oliver Holt said the Northern Irishman can make the tournament a classic:

McIlroy played with real swagger on Saturday and certainly has the quality to go on a charge on Sunday.

He said after his round that he has "nothing to lose" and that "Patrick has a three-shot lead; I feel like all the pressure is on him,” per Ewan Murray at the Guardian.

The 28-year-old has put himself in a strong position to claim the green jacket, but there will be little room for error on his final round.

Rickie Fowler has also played himself into contention after a stunning third round on Saturday. The 29-year-old equalled the best round with a seven-under 65, per CBS Sports:

The American still has plenty to do if he is to pull off an unlikely victory, but he is in a good position to take advantage of any final day slip-ups.

Reed has been playing superbly and will be the man to beat on Sunday. If he can continue the form he has shown, he looks certain to win a first major, but there's plenty of work still to do yet.
