Masters 2018 Leaderboard: Latest Scores and Standings from Saturday at Augusta
Patrick Reed enters the third round at the 2018 Masters with a two-stroke lead, but several top players are within striking distance with 36 holes left to play.
Reed is nine-under after shooting a blistering 66 on Friday. His closest competitor to start Saturday at the Augusta National Golf Club is Marc Leishman (-7), while Henrik Stenson, Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth will begin their day within five strokes of the lead.
Of the early players, Jason Day has moved himself into a much better position by shooting three-under through nine holes, but he's still well off the championship pace.
The 27-year-old Reed has not yet won a major, and his previous best finish at the Masters was a tie for 22nd in 2015. Though he's never come close to donning the green jacket before, the Augusta State alum has spent plenty of time dreaming about the moment.
"I don't know how many times on putting greens I was like, 'All right, well, this putt is to win the green jacket,'" said Reed, an Augusta State alumnus, per ESPN.com's Ian O'Connor. "It's one of those things that all kids growing up think about, and to have the reality to be able to sit up here after Friday and have the lead in the tournament. It's great."
The pressure will be on Reed with so many excellent golfers well within range.

Early Saturday Action
The brightest star of Saturday's morning action has been Matthew Fitzpatrick, who has redeemed himself after making the cut by one stroke. He was at five-under through 16 holes, finishing particularly strong thanks to a birdie on 12, a birdie on 14 and then an eagle on the 15th hole to get him to even par for the tournament.
Tiger Woods made the cut at his first Masters since 2015, something of a relief for fans of the legendary golfer who have watched him struggle so much over the past few years. However, he's far from contention after shooting a 73 on Thursday and a 75 on Friday. Through 14 holes in the third round, he was doing a little better at even par for the day.
Masters Highlights provided a look at his form on the seventh hole:

Some were hoping for more from Woods after he finished tied for second at the Valspar Championship and tied for fifth at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, but there hasn't been any of the old magic at a major that he's won four times in his career.
Day started the third round 11 strokes off the lead, but he has moved below par for the tournament with a strong start to the weekend. Here's a look at him getting out of a tough spot in the sand trap to set up an easy birdie putt, per Masters Highlights:
Day has won just one major in his career—the 2015 PGA Championship—but has come oh-so close at the other three. He has an outside chance at moving into contention, but he will need a strong finish on Saturday and more than a few collapses from the golfers ahead of him to clear a path to the title.
Moving day has been tough on Phil Mickelson. He started the day five-over, just barely making the cut, and then promptly went out and shot a triple-bogey on his first hole and then a bogey on his second. He's since evened out his performance a bit, thanks to driver shots like this one, per the PGA Tour:
Overall, though, it will be a Masters to forget for Lefty.
The competition will heat up in the afternoon as the leaders begin to tee off. Reed has the lead but lacks experience chasing the green jacket. Spieth is always dangerous due to his consistently strong play at Augusta, while Leishman could be ready for another surge after shooting 67 on Friday.
Other players lurking in the deep and talented field include Dustin Johnson (-3) and Justin Thomas (-3), who shot a 68 and 67, respectively, in the second round.
