
Jurgen Klopp: Mohamed Salah Won't Play vs. Everton If Groin Injury Not 100%
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp told reporters on Friday he will not risk star forward Mohamed Salah in the derby match against Everton on Saturday unless his groin injury has completely healed.
As the Liverpool Echo's James Pearce shared, the tactician didn't rule out Salah completely but made it clear he will be cautious:

The Egypt international is the Premier League's top scorer and Liverpool's main man in attack. But while he's closing in on the league's single-season record of 31 goals, and the Reds would love to add another win against their hated rivals, Klopp has other priorities.
Liverpool are still active in the UEFA Champions League, where the side romped to a 3-0 win over Manchester City in the first leg of their quarter-final tie. Salah got on the scoresheet in that match, and his availability for Tuesday's return leg and the rest of the campaign is pivotal.
While the 25-year-old has been Liverpool's most productive forward this season, he's not the only one capable of scoring goals. Everton have conceded 53 Premier League goals this season, one of the worst marks in the division, and the likes of Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino should be able to carry their team to a win, even without Salah.
