Romelu Lukaku Leads Manchester United Past Swansea City with 100th EPL Goal
Romelu Lukaku bagged his 100th Premier League goal in Manchester United's 2-0 win over Swansea City on Saturday.
The Belgian opened the scoring early, while Alexis Sanchez added to the first-half advantage. The Red Devils were barely troubled and easily held on for the win.

Lukaku scores 100th Premier League goal
It didn't take Lukaku long to score his 100th Premier League goal, bagging the opener after just five minutes. Sanchez set him up nicely, and his effort took a slight deflection before it settled into the net.
As shared by OptaJoe, he joined a relatively elite club with the goal:
It's worth remembering Lukaku is still just 24 years old, so the Belgian still has plenty of time to add to that impressive tally. Per the Premier league's official website, Alan Shearer still owns the overall record, with 260 goals.
Sanchez Ends His Dry Spell
Sanchez had only scored once for the Red Devils before the game, losing his form quickly after completing a transfer move in January. That goal came against Huddersfield early in February, and he went seven straight matches without scoring for United after it.
The Chilean desperately needed a goal and did well to double the lead, taking a deflected pass from Jesse Lingard and finishing expertly.
The fans loved it:
On top of the goal and assist, Sanchez had a great outing, particularly in the first half. It should give the former Arsenal man a huge boost going forward.
Solid Outing for Pogba
Another man in dire need of a good performance was Paul Pogba, and like Sanchez, he didn't disappoint. The Frenchman didn't record any major statistics, but he kept things simple in midfield, and Swansea had no answers.
Per Manchester Evening News' Samuel Luckhurst, it was a solid outing for just about all the Red Devils on the pitch:
Loss of Concentration
United didn't have a perfect afternoon, however, as the side appeared to lose focus in the second half and gave away several good chances. David De Gea had to make two key saves on Tammy Abraham to preserve his clean sheet, and a more experienced striker probably would have finished one of the opportunities.
If United want to see off their rivals and finish the season in second place, they'll have to do a better job limiting such opportunities, especially against the top teams.
What's Next
United will face rivals Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on April 7, while Swansea visit West Bromwich Albion the same day.
