Sevilla vs. Bayern Munich: Preview, Live Stream, TV Info for UCL Match
While there are more high-profile fixtures in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, Sevilla's meeting with Bayern Munich on Tuesday is one of the most intriguing of the four ties.
Although it's standard to see the Munich giants at this stage of European football's premier competition, Sevilla's involvement is a surprise to some. The Liga side produced an exceptional 2-1 win against Manchester United in the previous round to progress.
As for Bayern, with the Bundesliga title all but sealed, Jupp Heynckes will want to see his side shift focus to the Champions League in the remaining months of the season. There's no doubt the German giants have the class to go all the way.

Sevilla Seek to Spring Another Shock

Following their 0-0 draw at home with United in the first leg of their last-16 meeting, many people assumed the Red Devils would do enough to get through at Old Trafford.
Sevilla weren't daunted by the challenge. They produced an excellent display away from home, with two goals from forward Wissam Ben Yedder effectively ending the tie and putting the Andalusians into the last eight.
As the tournament's official Twitter account noted, the France international forward has been prolific in the Champions League this season:
He's the undoubted danger man for Bayern to look out for on Tuesday, but a number of Sevilla players will need to be at their best if they are going to make it into the last four.
After all, going to Old Trafford and winning when the tie was level is one thing. If the same situation presents itself here, going to the Allianz Arena needing a positive result would represent a much more daunting task, as Bayern are one of the favourites to win this competition.

In Heynckes, they have a coach capable of guiding them to the trophy—he steered them to European glory in 2013—while the quality is undoubtedly there. Additionally, as Goal UK illustrated, Bayern are experienced at this level:
Players like Manuel Neuer, Jerome Boateng, Mats Hummels, Arturo Vidal, Arjen Robben, Thomas Muller and Franck Ribery are all veterans of this competition, and their nous will be important in a hostile environment on Tuesday night.
Robert Lewandowski is the player to whom Heynckes will look to make the difference in this encounter, though. As Bet365 noted during the recent international break, his record in front of goal is quite remarkable:
Defensively, Sevilla haven't been robust this season, and although they appeared in total control of the game against United at Old Trafford, Bayern have more firepower to expose the weak points in Vincenzo Montella's side.
Usually so strong at home, they have been a little vulnerable at the Sanchez Pizjuan lately, losing to Valencia recently and heavily to Atletico Madrid in February.
Bayern, as such, will see Tuesday's fixture as an ideal chance to take any fizz out of this tie before the return leg. Given their form, their coach's acumen and their squad's pedigree, expect them to have one foot in the semi-finals by the end of this game.
Prediction: Sevilla 1-2 Bayern Munich
