Luke Shaw Reportedly Challenged Jose Mourinho in Old Trafford Dressing-Room Row
Manchester United's Luke Shaw reportedly clashed with Jose Mourinho in the Old Trafford dressing room when the Portuguese manager replaced him at half-time during the Red Devils' 2-0 defeat of Brighton & Hove Albion in the FA Cup earlier this month.
According to the Daily Mail's Chris Wheeler, the beleaguered left-back asked Mourinho: "Why are you always picking on me?" The United boss reportedly responded by telling Shaw he was not defending his left flank well enough.
Per Wheeler, the pair's raised voices could be heard outside the dressing room as Shaw endured another low in a season in which he has had "moments of despair," according to sources close to him.

In the wake of the Brighton game BBC Sport's Simon Stone reported that Shaw, 22, will leave United this summer as he has reached his wit's end with Mourinho's public criticism of him.
The Englishman continues to be marginalised by the Red Devils boss and has started only 15 of the 68 Premier League games for which Mourinho has been in charge.
The former Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Chelsea manager questioned his commitment in April of last year, per BBC Sport.

And, according to Wheeler, the dressing-room spat at the Brighton game was the second clash Shaw has had with Mourinho in a fortnight, as the youngster's attempts to seek assurances over his first-team opportunities after the Crystal Palace match on March 5 were met angrily by the manager.
The relationship between Shaw and Mourinho looks increasingly beyond repair and, unless the situation changes drastically in the final six weeks of the season, a summer exit for the left-back seems inevitable.
Shaw is a talented young full-back, so there should be no shortage of suitors for him, especially as he will have just a year remaining on his current United contract come the summer.
Bleacher Report's Dean Jones believes he will remain in the Premier League:
Should Shaw leave it will mean United will have to enter the transfer market to find a long-term replacement on the left side of defence.
Ashley Young has performed admirably in the role for much of 2017-18 but, at 32, the former Aston Villa man does not have much longer left at his peak.
