Harry Kane Not Ruled Out with Ankle Injury for Chelsea vs. Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino hasn't ruled out the prospect of Harry Kane making a surprise return from injury on Sunday against Chelsea.
Kane suffered ankle ligament damage in the win over Bournemouth on March 11 and was expected to be out until mid-April as a result. However, speaking to the press of Sunday's Premier League showdown at Stamford Bridge, Pochettino wouldn't totally dismiss him from contention.
"We need to assess him," the Spurs boss said. "He is very positive and he is doing very well. Every day he is improving. We need to assess in the next few days. It's difficult now to say yes or no. I cannot say no, but I cannot say yes. Maybe next weekend."

Star-Studded World Cup Ad 🤩
Kane has been enjoying another memorable season, although there were big concerns it was over immediately after he rolled his ankle in the clash against Bournemouth. Thoughts among many England fans turned to the summer's FIFA World Cup.
However, the injury was not as bad as first feared, and there is a slim chance the striker will turn out for Spurs in Sunday's crucial encounter.

While Heung-Min Son has excelled at the point of the attack in Kane's absence, Tottenham are a much more fearsome proposition with their No. 10 leading the line.
It's a crucial game for Tottenham, as a win would leave them with a grip on a UEFA Champions League spot. They head to Stamford Bridge in fourth position, five points clear of fifth-place Chelsea.
Visits to the Bridge have proved to be testing for Spurs, though, as they have failed to win at Chelsea in the top flight since 1990. If Kane is fit and firing for this one, their chances of ending that hoodoo will be significantly enriched.
