Titans GM Jon Robinson Reportedly Receives Contract Extension Through 2022
The Tennessee Titans have offered general manager Jon Robinson a contract extension through 2022, according to NFL writer Paul Kuharsky.
That matches head coach Mike Vrabel's contract, which also runs through 2022.
"I've put them on schedule," Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk told Kuharsky, laughing.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Robinson, 42, was hired by the Titans before the 2016 season and the team has gone 9-7 in each of his two seasons, reaching the postseason in 2017.
His notable actions the past three offseasons include drafting players like Jack Conklin, Derrick Henry, Corey Davis and Adoree' Jackson, trading for running back DeMarco Murray in 2016 and signing players like center Ben Jones, cornerbacks Logan Ryan and Malcolm Butler and running back Dion Lewis, among others.
Hiring Vrabel was a huge move as well and one that likely will define Robinson's tenure with the team.
Strunk believes in Robinson's vision going forward:
Robinson, meanwhile, hopes this offseason's transactions help the Titans take a step forward:
They'll need to take that step to compete against an AFC South division that should be improved in 2018. While the Jacksonville Jaguars remain one of the most talented teams in the NFL, the return of Deshaun Watson and Andrew Luck to the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts, respectively, could make both of those teams dangerous as well.
Vrabel and his staff will face a challenge returning to the postseason in their first year at the helm. The hope will be that Robinson's offseason additions in recent years will facilitate another playoff run.
