Deshaun Watson's Knee Injury Rehab Ahead of Schedule, Could Throw at OTAs
Houston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien said Tuesday that quarterback Deshaun Watson is ahead of schedule in his recovery from a torn ACL.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, O'Brien added that Watson could throw at OTAs, which begin in May.
Watson took the NFL by storm as a rookie last season before a torn ACL suffered in practice kept him out for the remainder of the campaign.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In seven games (six starts), Watson completed 61.8 percent of his passes for 1,699 yards, 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He also rushed for 269 yards and two scores on just 36 attempts.
The Texans traded up in the first round of the 2017 draft to 12th overall to select the former Clemson signal-caller, and early indications are they landed a star.
Houston struggled mightily in the second half last season with the likes of Tom Savage and T.J. Yates replacing Watson, but the team has a chance to be highly competitive in the improving AFC South next season provided Watson is ready.
