Women's Tournament 2018: Schedule, Bracket Ahead of Final Four
The men's NCAA Tournament has been full of upsets and chaos as brackets across the country were busted almost immediately as the No. 1 seed Virginia crashed out of the tournament in the first round.
The same cannot be said, however, for the women's version of March Madness.
Impressively enough, the four No. 1 seeds in the women's tournament have each advanced to the Final Four as Connecticut, Notre Dame, Louisville and Mississippi State survived each round to make it to the sport's biggest stage.
The heavily-favored Huskies will take on the Fighting Irish Friday while the Cardinals face-off against the Bulldogs. The Louisville-Mississippi State game will tip off at 7 p.m. ET followed by UConn vs. Notre Dame at 9 p.m. ET.
Both games will be televised on ESPN2 and live streamed on WatchESPN.
Final Four Preview

To the surprise of no one, the most dominant team in college basketball—men's or women's—made it look easy en route to another Final Four appearance.
UConn dismantled South Carolina in a dominant 94-65 victory, improving to 36-0 on the season.
The team UConn will face in the Final Four, however, won't be easy to get past. Notre Dame is 33-3 on the season and is coming off an impressive performance against a tough Oregon side in an 84-74 win.
While the Huskies will be favored against the Irish, they can't afford to overlook their opponent with an eye on the national championship game. After all, UConn crashed out of the tournament last season against Mississippi State in the same fashion.
Looking to face the winner of UConn vs. Notre Dame will be Louisville or the aforementioned Bulldogs.

Louisville (36-2) was able to make Oregon State look like a cake walk in a blowout 76-43, Elite Eight victory. The Bulldogs, on the other hand, had a tougher time against UCLA (89-73 victory) in the Elite Eight but managed to get an outstanding performance from Teaira McCowan, who recorded a monster 23-point, 21-rebound game.
A possible rematch between UConn and Mississippi State could be in the future if both teams prevail, but a lot has to be done before we get to that point. After all, the Huskies haven't lost a single game since that defeat in the tournament nearly a year ago.
