Liverpool Transfer News: Emre Can Reportedly Demands Huge Contract to Stay
Emre Can is reportedly demanding wages of over £200,000 per week to stay at Liverpool and is hoping to become the Reds' highest-paid player.
The midfielder's contract expires at the end of the season, and he is yet to agree an extension amid interest from Juventus and Manchester City.
He has already rejected one offer from Liverpool and further talks are scheduled. However, it's unlikely the Reds will agree to his demands and a summer exit looks likely, per Tom Hopkinson of the Sunday People.

Liverpool are ready to offer star man Mohamed Salah a new deal worth £200,000 per week after his superb performances, per John Richardson at the Sunday Mirror. The Egyptian is the top Premier League goalscorer and has bagged 35 goals in all competitions for Jurgen Klopp's side.
The club is also keen to reward Salah with an improved deal in a bid to ward off interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Salah has been by far Liverpool's most influential player this season, and while his performances may merit an improved deal, it's difficult to see the Reds being willing to sanction a similar contract for Can.
