Tottenham Reportedly to Battle Liverpool, AC Milan for Marco Reus in the Summer
Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and AC Milan are reportedly set for a three-way battle for Marco Reus' signature in the summer, though Borussia Dortmund are hoping to tie him to a new deal.
The Mirror's Darren Lewis reported Spurs are tracking the Germany international's contract situation, and with Reus yet to sign a new deal they're preparing to make a move for him.
Meanwhile, according to Mundo Deportivo (h/t Calciomercato.com), the Reds are the front-runners in the race to sign the forward despite speculation over a summer bid from AC Milan in the Italian press. Calciomercato relayed Tuttosport's report of the Rossoneri scouting Reus in February.

Reus will be in the final year of his deal at Signal Iduna Park come the summer, and Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc is hoping to have his future secured.
"We totally understood that Marco did not want to enter contract talks during his injury," he told Sport Bild (h/t Goal's Joe Wright). "And, of course, we will now intensify the talks."
On February 10, Reus returned from a knee ligament injury that had kept him out all season, and he has scored two goals in three Bundesliga appearances, the first of which was a sensational effort, per BT Sport Football:
The injury was one of a number of issues the playmaker has gone through in recent years, and former Dortmund and Germany star Matthias Sammer praised his ability to bounce back:
When fit, the 28-year-old is a superb player, as evidenced by his record of 91 goals and 61 assists in 194 appearances for BVB.
He's an excellent finisher with intelligent decision-making, and he can create opportunities for his team-mates in the final third with incisive passing.
ESPN's Janusz Michallik and Goal's Ronan Murphy are among many hoping he can remain fit:
Reus is a versatile operator as well, being able to play on either wing or through the middle—qualities that will make him even more appealing to the likes of Liverpool and Spurs.
His injury record makes him something of a risky capture, but with the time remaining on his contract it should mean he's less expensive, too.
Despite the risks, if a player of his ability can be brought in at a reasonable price and stay fit, he could be a tremendous buy.
