Real Madrid Transfer News: Gianluigi Donnarumma's Agent Wants AC Milan Exit
Mino Raiola, the agent of AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, wants the rumoured Real Madrid and Barcelona target to leave the Rossoneri.
Raiola made his feelings clear during an interview with Rai (h/t Goal's Rob Lancaster):
"Gigio made a choice, to stay at AC Milan, and I respect it. If he should ask me to leave I would work on it immediately because there are important requests. In my opinion, Gigio should leave Milan."

Those "important requests" Raiola mentioned may refer to Real and bitter rivals Barca. Lancaster noted how both were linked with the 19-year-old stopper last year.
Donnarumma opted to stay in Serie A, with Raiola revealing he ceded to his client's wishes to extend his contract with Milan. However, the links to Los Blancos haven't gone away.

Real were credited with offering £87 million for the precocious 'keeper in June, according to former Milan president Silvio Berlusconi, per Dave Fraser of The Sun.
In January, Jordan Russell of Calciomercato.com noted the tension between Raiola and Milan technical director Massimiliano Mirabelli:
"The main issue remains the aforementioned Donnarumma, whom Mirabelli still has absolutely no intention of selling despite Raiola’s best efforts. Real Madrid, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain all continue to be linked."
Real have often been linked with some of the top goalkeepers in the game in recent years, despite the solid performances of Keylor Navas. Premier League pair David De Gea and Thibaut Courtois are regularly tipped to replace the Costa Rica international.

Manchester United are said to be preparing a contract offer worth £14 million annually to ward off interest from Los Blancos in De Gea, according to Goal's Kris Voakes. Meanwhile, Real are said to want Courtois to delay signing a new deal with Chelsea in case the Spanish club can't sign the Red Devils No. 1, per Matt Law of the Daily Telegraph.
Signing either De Gea or Courtois wouldn't be easy, but a deal for Donnarumma may be more in Real's reach. After all, the youthful Italy international faces the prospect of not being in the UEFA Champions League next season, with Milan seventh in Serie A.
There have also been concerns about the Rossoneri's finances. Milena Gabanelli and Mario Gerevini of Corriere della Sera (h/t Andrew Richardson of The Sun) compiled a report on owner Yonghong Li in February, saying the businessman faced bankruptcy.

In November, chief executive Marco Fassone said the club was discussing refinancing £274.2 million worth of debt, per Elvira Pollina and Giulia Segreti of Reuters.
Any financial issues at Milan would make a coveted asset such as Donnarumma more valuable in a sale than by remaining at the club. Moving for the teenager would give Los Blancos a goalkeeper ready to spend the best years of his career in Madrid.
