Report: Josh Sitton $8 Million Contract Option to Be Declined by Bears
Guard Josh Sitton will reportedly have his $8 million contract option for next season declined by the Chicago Bears.
Per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport, the Bears will move on from Sitton to get younger on the offensive line.
Sitton signed a three-year contract with the Bears prior to the 2016 season. He made 25 starts in his 26 appearances for the team over the past two seasons.

The Bears' loss could be another team's gain when Sitton becomes a free agent on March 14. Pro Football Focus gave him an overall grade of 86.0 in 712 snaps last season, per Christopher Thornton of Locked on Jaguars, which was the fifth-best guard grade.
Prior to signing with Chicago, Sitton spent the first eight years of his career with the Green Bay Packers. He won a Super Bowl with the team in 2010 and has been selected to the Pro Bowl four times.
