2009 Fantasy Football Highlight: Five Potential Sleepers For Week Seven
It almost a no brainer deciding which Fantasy stud to start each and every week—like Reggie Wayne at St. Louis—but what isn’t so easy is deciding on the other guys on your roster that aren’t at stud status.
This week there is a great deal of easy starts to choose from, but there are some interesting names out there you may not know of, and they could be of interest if you are hurting.
Let’s take a look at the top five sleeper prospects of this week.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
1. Michael Crabtree-WR-San Fran
Yes, that’s right, Crabtree gets the nod at starting WR and the 49ers are hoping he can jump start the offense after a disastrous week vs. the Falcons. Josh Morgan has graciously stepped aside for "the good of the team” which means Crabtree should see plenty of targets.
Crabtree has been sharp in practice and should have sleeper value in all formats vs. a very porous Houston defense.
2. Mike Wallace-WR-Steelers
Wallace isn’t quite a breakout WR yet, but he has shown himself to be viable option for Big Ben other than Hines Ward. The Vikings like to blitz, and when they do the door is wide open in coverage, especially in the zones.
If all the attention is on Hines Ward—which it probably will be—you can expect Wallace to be the next target in line. Worst case scenario, he is good for five catches for at least 60 yards and a score.
3. Jeremy Maclin-WR-Eagles
Last week’s befuddling loss to Oakland was due mostly to McNabb thinking that throwing to his receivers' feet was a good idea. And I don’t want to hear anything about the Oakland pressure since McNabb is no stranger to pressure.
This week, the Eagles face a Redskins team that seemingly gets worse every week. You can bet the Birds are going fly high with Maclin being under one of those wings.
4. Greg Olsen-TE-Chicago
The Bears have admitted that they need to get the ball to Olsen more, and before last week’s game Ron Turner already committed to doing just that. It showed with his best performance since his game against Seattle.
This week, against the Bengals, the Bears will have to deal with a great deal of pressure. This makes any TE attractive since the QB will have to check down a lot to avoid any loss of yardage, making Olsen a great play.
5. Ryan Grant-RB-Packers
Grant has had a very average season this year both in usage and in stats, but when it comes to playing in a cleanup role he is the go to guy—not the kind of stigma you want as a player but hey, whatever works right?
The Browns couldn’t cover a lamp with a lamp shade, and their run defense is just as bad. So you can expect the Packers to use Grant either early or later. Either way he is a great pick that most won’t consider.
