Tottenham Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly confident of signing Lucas Moura after meeting the Paris Saint-Germain winger for talks, while Inter Milan are said to be interested in Erik Lamela.
Moura has had a tour of Tottenham's training base and met chairman Daniel Levy and manager Mauricio Pochettino, who both want to bring him in, according to Marco Giacomelli at the Evening Standard. In fact, Jonathan Johnson of ESPNFC reported Lucas had agreed to personal terms, and a deal was expected next week.
The PSG winger is expected to cost over £20 million and is on wages of £75,000 per week, which is within Spurs' budget. He is also eligible to play in the UEFA Champions League this season.

Moura is yet to make a start for PSG this season, and the French club are keen to sell him for financial reasons, per football writer Tariq Panja:
The 25-year-old is a skilful, pacy winger and a move to the Premier League could help him develop, according to Brazilian football writer Paulo Freitas:
Moura is also good in possession and an excellent dribbler, as highlighted by WhoScored.com:
La Liga side Real Betis are also interested in Moura and have made a bid which could rise as high as €30 million (£26 million) including variables, according to Estadio Deportivo (h/t Rob Guest at Football.London).
Moura's visit to Spurs suggests the club are leading the race for his signature and if he does join he will be another useful attacking option. The Brazilian will also add experience and depth to the Spurs squad as the club chase a top-four place and remain in contention in the Champions League and the FA Cup.
Meanwhile, Inter have made contact with Spurs regarding Lamela and want to bring him back to Italy. However, any move may take place at the end of the season, rather than in January, per Sky Sport (h/t Calciomercato.com).

The former AS Roma man returned from a long injury lay-off at the end of November and has gone on to make 12 appearances for Spurs, but just two of those have been starts.
The Argentinian's injury record mean he has struggled to live his up to potential during his time in north London, but he still has a good record, according to Tottenham writer Chris Miller:
It's unclear if Spurs would be willing to see him depart after finally getting him fit and back in action. The 25-year-old offers creativity and flair that can be difficult to find, and if he can stay fit he will surely only get stronger as the season progresses.
