Manchester United Transfer News: Jean Michael Seri Wanted in Latest Rumours
Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri following their capture of Alexis Sanchez.
According to The Sun's Mike McGrath, the Red Devils are "feeling bullish in the transfer market" after signing Sanchez and they're "pushing hardest" to sign Seri either this month or in the summer.
They won't be without competition for his signature, though, as L'Equipe (h/t Get French Football News) linked Manchester City with him earlier in January:

United entered the window already needing creativity in midfield, and although Sanchez can provide a spark up front, they also lost Henrikh Mkhitaryan as part of the deal that brought the Chilean to Old Trafford.
As such, another player who can share the burden with Paul Pogba could have a significant impact on the team's prospects.
Seri racked up seven goals and nine assists for Nice in Ligue 1 last season, a campaign that put him on Barcelona's radar in the summer.
A move to a slightly deeper position this year has resulted in just one goal and three assists in Ligue 1 thus far, but he is nevertheless creating opportunities for his team-mates.

According to Squawka, he has created 36 chances this season at an average of 2.25 per game, a higher frequency than last season, and he has completed 23 of the 29 take-ons he has attempted.
What's more, his superb distribution has also marginally improved, as he has maintained a 91 per cent passing accuracy, which is up from 90 per cent last year.
Despite the numbers, French football writer Rich Allen believes Seri has fallen short of the standards he set last year and could use a move to rediscover that form:
He'd be an excellent player for United if he were to do that at Old Trafford, and beating City to another target can help them reduce the gap between the two sides both on the pitch and in the league table, with the Sky Blues 12 points ahead.
