Sunday Recap

It was a tough day for Spurs on the south coast as the north Londoners travelled from the capital to St Mary's Stadium on Sunday.
The visitors were missing Christian Eriksen from their starting XI, and their creativity was stunted as Southampton stamped authority on the fixture.
The hosts took the lead after 15 minutes, with Sanchez's nervous start underpinned by an own goal in the early stages.
Dusan Tadic and Ryan Bertrand pulled the strings as the Spurs defender deflected the ball past goalkeeper Michel Vorm—as the ground exploded with joyful song.

However, the lead lasted just three minutes as the Lilywhites wasted no time in scoring an equaliser.
As expected, it was the predatory instinct of Kane that paid dividends as the striker headed home Ben Davies' cross.
Kane almost grabbed the lead moments later as Spurs poured forward, but neither side could take an advantage into the interval.
Sports reporter Ian Abraham's gave his verdict on the visitors' lacklustre play in the rain:
Southampton maintained their performance in the second half, with Spurs short of their best as they defended with numbers.
Dele Alli was quiet, with the hosts appearing motivated. Tadic continued to influence as the Saints went for all of the points on offer.
Sofiane Boufal should have scored the winner for Southampton with three minutes on the clock, but it was left to Kane to miss a gilt-edged opportunity in the dying seconds.
