Juventus Chief on Emre Can Pursuit: 'We Will Try All We Can to Get the Player'
Juventus will go all out in their attempts to sign midfielder Emre Can from Liverpool, according to general director Giuseppe Marotta.
Can, 24, is out of contract at the end of the season, and Marotta has revealed Juve are eager to sign him in the summer.
"Emre Can is a player whose contract is running down, so it allows us to approach him for negotiations, and that is the course we have taken," the Juve chief told Sky Sport Italia (via Sky Sports). "I can't say if he could sign a new contract with Liverpool, but I can say we will try all we can to get the player. Obviously, we have to respect what the player wants."

The Germany international is allowed to speak to foreign clubs and sign a pre-contract agreement because he is in the last six months of his Liverpool deal.
Juventus have long been linked with the former Bayer Leverkusen player. It seemed inevitable he would join the Italian champions at the end of the season, but the midfielder recently said he has no deal with Juve and is still open to the idea of signing a new contract with Liverpool, per Danny Gallagher of Sky Sports.
Can highlighted his importance to Jurgen Klopp's team as the Reds beat Manchester City 4-3 on Sunday.
The German produced a fantastic display from central midfield, contributing to both defence and attack.
Liverpool are lacking in central midfielders who can provide defensive solidity in the middle of the park. Can is not a traditional defensive midfielder, but he is more than capable of interrupting opposition attacks and providing protection for the back line, much more so than, say, Jordan Henderson.
The Reds will be desperate to keep hold of Can past the summer, but it is clear the Italian champions are trying their hardest to convince him to move to Turin.
