Barcelona Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Yerry Mina and Aleix Vidal
Barcelona are reportedly close to completing a deal for Palmeiras defender Yerry Mina, while Aleix Vidal is said to prefer a move to Sevilla.
Mina is set to arrive in Barcelona on Monday or Tuesday to have a medical and sign a contract, according to Alargue Caracol (h/t Juan Jimenez at AS).
Barcelona and Palmeiras still have a few minor details to iron out, but Ernesto Valverde's side are expected to pay a fee in the region of €12 million for the 23-year-old.

Former Colombian international striker Faustino Asprilla has already welcomed Mina to Barcelona on Twitter:
Mina is expected to arrive as a replacement for Javier Mascherano who has agreed a deal with Chinese Super League side Hebei China Fortune, per ESPN's Jordi Blanco (h/t AS).
The defender's arrival means Barcelona will not be able to move for Gremio midfielder Arthur this winter now, as explained by journalist Rafael Hernandez:
Barca's move for Mina makes sense; he's a cheap and available option and will come in and be the club's fourth-choice centre-back for the rest of the season, allowing Mascherano to be granted his wish to leave.
Another player who could depart is Vidal, and he is wanted by Sevilla, Napoli and Roma but would prefer a return to the Liga side, per Marca's Alberto Fernandez.

After the arrival of Philippe Coutinho, Barcelona need to sell some of their fringe players and he is keen to leave.
Vidal spent a year with Sevilla before moving to Camp Nou in 2015, but Sevilla want any deal to be an initial loan with a "compulsory purchase option, worth 10 to 12 million euros from June 30."
Sports journalist Robbie Dunne said Barca will sell Vidal to the highest bidder:
Vidal has recovered from an awful injury spell to make the first team this season, but his chances of featuring regularly are limited.
Ousmane Dembele's return to fitness, plus the arrival of Coutinho and the emergence of Jose Arnaiz from Barcelona B, means competition for places is fierce, and a move away might be best for both parties.
