Gold: Zoe Larson and Nick Hubbart (112.55)
Silver: Cate Fleming and Jedidiah Isbell (112.28)
Bronze: Katie Luong and Nathan Luong (92.32)
Building off their Friday momentum, Zoe Larson and Nick Hubbart remained in first place after their free skate to take home the intermediate pairs gold medal by the slimmest of margins.
Cate Fleming and Jedidiah Isbell posted a free-skate score of 73.86, highest of all seven pairs in the competition. Larson and Hubbart were only .58 points behind them on Saturday, but their score of 39.27 in the short program provided enough cushion to take home the title.
The rest of the field wasn't nearly as compelling. Katie Luong and Nathan Luong captured the bronze, finishing nearly 15 points ahead of the fourth-place finishers but 20 points behind Larson and Hubbart.
Intermediate Ladies (Score)
Gold: Indi Cha (131.73)
Silver: Alyssa Chan (128.31)
Bronze: Arianna Concepcion (126.24)
The top three intermediate-ladies finishers from Friday's short program wound up taking home medals at the end of the free skate.
Indi Cha was the wire-to-wire champion thanks to a 47.28 score on Day 1 that she followed up with a dazzling 84.45 from the judges on Day 2. Alyssa Chan was able to get a small bump in the free skate with an 82.33 score that moved her into the silver-medal position.
Chan was the runner-up thanks in part to a rough showing by Arianna Concepcion, who was in second place after Day 1. Her score of 79.17 in the free skate was only the fifth-best, but it didn't knock her off the medal stage.
Despite finishing fifth overall, Kate Wang made a big move when the judges awarded her a score of 82.98. Only Cha had a higher score in the free skate. Wang was hurt by starting the day in seventh place with a disappointing score of 40.17 in the short program.
Intermediate Men's (Score)
Gold: Maxim Zharkov (130.82)
Silver: Matthew Nielsen (118.15)
Bronze: Liam Kapeikis (116.91)
Maxim Zharkov had no problems walking away from the intermediate men's program with a gold medal. He finished more than 12 full points ahead of Matthew Nielsen thanks to a dazzling 85.15 score in his free skate.
Zharkov was already the favorite to win after ending Day 1 in first place. Saturday saw him end any suspense in dominant fashion. William Annis, who finished fourth overall, came closest to matching Zharkov with a 76.47 from the judges.
Nielsen and Liam Kapeikis, who were in the No. 2 and 3 spots following Friday's action, rounded out the medal winners. Annis' effort made things interesting for the bronze. Kapeikis beat him out by .06 points for third place.
