College Football Playoff Prediction Series: Week Seven
This week's results are official. The BCS has finally released their first poll. All computers are in and Florida, Alabama, and Texas all seem to be in control of their own destiny. Boise State is ranked astoundingly in fourth place—the highest ranking of a non-BCS team ever.
The playoff picture changed again this week as No. 3 Virginia Tech lost to No. 17 Georgia Tech. Undefeated Cincinnati has now ascended into the Four-Team playoff.
Surprisingly, Virginia (the Cavaliers not the Hokies) are now leading the ACC, with zero losses. According to the rules of this article series the Cavaliers will represent the ACC in each case where a playoff calls for the ACC Champion.
Oregon, by virtue of Virginia Tech's loss, is now included in the Eight-Team playoff. Iowa has now taken sole possession of the Big Ten lead after Ohio State's inexplicable loss to lowly Purdue. Oklahoma State and Penn State also advanced back into two of the larger playoffs.
The Poll
If you have proposals that you'd like displayed next week, then link to them or describe them in the comments section. Up to two may be added for each new iteration of this series.
Each week, there will also be a poll for whichever proposal makes the most sense. The playoff with the least amount of support may not appear next week, at my discretion.
Enjoy the playoffs below, given in an order considering last week's vote.
