NFL Fantasy Football Week Six Report: Injuries and Other Odds and Ends
Fantasy Highlight: Braylon Edwards
Jerricho Cotchery, the standout wide receiver for the New York Jets is being speculated to miss this week’s matchup vs. the Bills due to his nagging hamstring issue.
Cotchery, one of the brighter spots on the Jets’ defense, has accounted for 360 yards on 24 grabs with a lone touchdown.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
But this news means another Fantasy option for managers in literally all formats.
His name is Braylon Edwards.
Edwards came in last week and stole the show with 64 yards on five catches and a single touchdown. Last week’s performance shows that the Jets have another huge weapon in Edwards and, more importantly, it shows that Edwards has sped his way into understanding the Jets’ offense.
But with Cotchery likely not to play Edwards becomes an even more intriguing play against the Bills who have suffered greatly in the secondary and are about as thin as a wafer right now.
In addition, the Jets should have no problem against the Bills without him and face the Raiders next which is two solid weeks for them—and you—to test drive Edwards with little worry.
Injuries, and Other Odds and Ends
Calvin Johnson is highly unlikely to play in this week’s matchup against Green Bay as he was seen hobbling while donning sweatpants this Wednesday in practice.
Even if Johnson does wind up playing, you can’t expect much out of him and with Stafford still dealing with his knee injury it makes matters worse.
Willie Parker will be available to play this week as he returned to practice, which is good news for the Steelers.
The problem is, Mendenhall is going to be the featured back which hurts Parker owners. Going forward you should be mindful to watch this situation closely as it is bound to change.
Percy Harvin was held out of Vikings’ practice Wednesday with a shoulder injury that seemingly came out of nowhere. It is unknown the severity of the injury yet, but if he does play he would make a good start against a team that has issues with slot receivers.
Knowshon Moreno: Denver is reporting that Buckhalter returned to practice and took some snaps and screen passes, but it was Moreno who took all the first-team work and even if Buckhalter plays Moreno is likely to have far more Fantasy value.
