Tuesday's action in the 2017 College World Series features matchups between the two winners from Sunday's contests in Florida and Louisville and the losing teams from Sunday that ended up in the elimination bracket in Texas A&M and TCU.
All the programs are fighting to stay alive in the double-elimination format for a chance to play in the Bracket 2 finals, which will be held on June 23. If successful, they'll advance to the CWS finals, which begin on June 26.
Texas A&M and TCU, which each lost their opening matchups against Louisville and Florida, respectively, will face off first, starting at 2 p.m. ET. This time, however, the team that loses will be out of contention for good.

Texas A&M vs. TCU

The road to the College World Series finals will end for one of the Aggies or the Horned Frogs on Tuesday as the two face off in the elimination bracket.
If history is any indication, TCU will be the team that moves on to face the loser of Florida-Louisville on June 22.
The Horned Frogs knocked the Aggies out of the Super Regional in 2015 and 2016 and the regional in 2012.
The Aggies will hope their stellar pitching can keep their drive to the CWS finals alive; they rank 19th in team ERA (3.48).
But TCU knows how to generate offense. The Horned Frogs rank 38th in scoring (6.8 runs per game).
TCU has played in four consecutive World Series, and it has experience trampling on Texas A&M along the way.
Florida vs. Louisville

Neither Florida nor Louisville has ever won a national championship, but there's a good chance that will change this year as they continue to dominate.
Whichever team wins the matchup on Tuesday will automatically advance to the Bracket 2 finals. However, the team that loses can still make it if it can get past the winner of Texas A&M and TCU—and given the way Florida and Louisville have been playing, that's possible.
As the NCAA website points out, Florida has not surrendered a run in 18 innings. Moreover, the Gators have struck out 63 batters their past four games.
That's something the TCU Horned Frogs know all too well.
"They just smother you with outstanding pitching," Horned Frogs coach Jim Schlossnagle said, per the NCAA.
But Louisville is no easy opponent for the Gators. The Cardinals are riding a six-game win streak heading into their matchup on Tuesday. They are also 31st in slugging percentage at .463.
