Kylian Mbappe Will Decide His Own Future, Says Monaco Owner Dmitry Rybolovlev
AS Monaco star Kylian Mbappe will be free to make his own decision about departing the club this summer, according to owner Dmitry Rybolovlev.
After a fantastic 2016-17 season, the 18-year-old has been linked with a number of top European clubs, and although Rybolovlev stressed he is eager to see Mbappe stay, he told France Football he will not stand in his way if the right offer comes in (via ESPN FC's Ian Holyman): "We don't force things. Is he worth that sum [€100 million]? I don't know ... It's the market that will give the answer to that question. After that, it's the player who'll decide. In any case, we want Kylian to stay."

Monaco have reportedly already rejected a €120 million (£103 million) bid from Real Madrid for Mbappe, per the Telegraph's Jason Burt.
Meanwhile, L'Equipe reported Arsenal have made a similarly huge offer for the forward:
The battle to sign Mbappe looks set to be intense after he returned 15 goals in 29 appearances as Monaco won Ligue 1 in 2016-17 and six in nine as the French club reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League, per WhoScored.com.
It was a spectacular breakout season for the youngster, who had made just two league starts for Monaco before the beginning of the campaign.
Mbappe's deal with the Stade Louis II outfit runs until 2019, and there is a chance he could opt to stay with Monaco for another season at least given how he has thrived under manager Leonardo Jardim.
Considering how in demand he is and the astronomical fees being reported, though, it could be that Monaco decide to take advantage of his high profile and cash in on him this summer.
Mbappe enjoyed a fine 2016-17 season, contributing on the biggest of stages and proving he has the potential to become a superstar.
However, he is still young and inexperienced, and there is a distinct possibility he may not perform quite so brilliantly next term, meaning the number of clubs interested in him—and the value of bids for him—could go down.
