TURIN, ITALY - MAY 21: Daniel Alves of Juventus FC celebrates with the trophy after the beating FC Crotone 3-0 to win the Serie A Championships at the end of the Serie A match between Juventus FC and FC Crotone at Juventus Stadium on May 21, 2017 in Turi

Both teams enter the final high on confidence―courtesy of domestic titles in Spain and Italy―and with plenty of experience on the big stage. Juventus lost the final to Barcelona two years ago, and many key players in that match remain with the team.

The Bianconeri boast arguably the best defence in the world, with veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon backing the likes of Giorgio Chiellini, Andrea Barzagli and Leonardo Bonucci. Ahead of those players, everyone tracks back and puts in the work―even striker Gonzalo Higuain can often be found well inside the Juventus half.

Breaking down such an impressive outfit has proved difficult for plenty of teams, but Real are confident, as shared by B/R Football:

Juventus rarely concede in Europe, but Real's attacking numbers are even more impressive. Los Blancos have scored in every La Liga and Champions League match they have played this season, negating their defensive issues in continental competition.

Real have conceded in every European match bar one, the 3-0 win over Atletico Madrid in the semi-final first leg. Health in defence will be key―Danilo has impressed at right-back since entering the team as an injury substitute, but the Brazilian is mostly known for his costly mistakes at this point and could be in for a rough time against compatriot Alex Sandro if he starts.

One of the best battles should take place on the other wing, where Marcelo and Dani Alves are expected to go head-to-head. The latter took some time adapting to his new surrounding after moving to Turin from Barcelona, but he has been a key player during the knockout stages of the tournament.

However, his tendency to focus on attacking could be costly against Marcelo, who has arguably been the best player in the tournament over the last two months. His attacking contributions are spectacular for a full-back and a vital component of Real's tactics.

Per the tournament's official Twitter account, former Brazil international Cafu had high praise for the duo:

Picking a favourite in this match is difficult―Real have the European pedigree, but Juventus are well-rested, have been in sensational form of late and boast a defence for the ages.

The managers may well decide this fixture; both Massimiliano Allegri and Zinedine Zidane have proved themselves capable of making tactical changes at the right moment.

Prediction: Juventus' results against Real since the turn of the century have been remarkably strong, winning every tie in the knockout rounds and losing just a single match in the group stage. The trend will continue on Saturday, when the Italians will finally taste European success for the first time this century.
