Week Five NFL Review and Reflections
The Denver Broncos beat New England in Denver 20-17 to prove they belong among the league's best teams. Grasshopper beat up Master Po. Chester outdrew Marshall Dillon. Germany won a war. Next stop, a team with no defense, that will probably beat them, the San Diego Chargers.
All the other unbeaten teams stayed that way, with the Giants only needing a half to make the Raiders look like a high school team, and Brett Favre and the Vikings winning a scrimmage against St. Louis, who played more like lambs instead of Rams.
Carolina finally broke that losing streak, coming back on Wasington to win 20-17.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Atlanta showed they belong in Super Bowl conversations, dismantling the 49ers in the City by the Bay.
Jacksonville showed to be pretenders after all, losing to Seattle 41-0. Welcome back, Matt.
Pittsburgh practiced blowing a lead again, but managed to win 28-21, losing against the 10.5 point spread Vegas had assigned them to win by.
Buffalo blew another game, handing Cleveland a win 6-3 on a late fumble.
Indianapolis is staying undefeated at press time, currently winning 21-6 in the third quarter. How quickly they fall, Jeff Fisher, now soon to be at 0-5 to start the season, and end his team's season early.
Dallas survived a trip to Kansas City thanks to Miles Austin, getting enough total yards to make it back to Austin. Thirty-seven fantasy points for Miles Austin? I had to play against him on a fantasy team this week. My guys barely lost, all because of Austin.
Cincinnati beat Baltimore because of dumb mistakes and penalties on Ray Lewis and the rest of the defensive backfield. Give credit to the Bengals, though, making it to 4-1 and in charge of that division for the time being.
It was an emotional victory also for the defensive coordinator, Mike Simmons, who lost his wife, earlier in the week. Peace to her.
Philadelphia mowed down Tampa Bay, and McNabb and company looked sharp. Of course, this was against the confused and bewildered Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who looked more like escaped prisoners from the NFL asylum for wayward coaches. Who hired these guys?
Arizona got ahead 21 points, then let Houston catch up with 21 unanswered points, Then stopped them three times in a row on the one yard line to win the game 28-21. Go figure!
It's 28-9 now in Tennessee with the Colts happy to get out of here with a win in the division. Still, lots of time left, but were talking about Peyton Manning in Tennessee. They even love him here.
We have the Jets on Monday Night Football, against the Dolphins. I have the Dolphins, mainly because Cotchery and another receiver for the Jets are questionable to play.
Jason Taylor may get pressure on Sanchez, just like last week, when the Dolphins made Buffalo look silly. Ronnie Brown is becoming a fantasy force, and the other Chad, does not look bad. Miami's running attack is very good. Don't be surprised if the mighty Jets tumble.
I am at 8-5 this week, and also 7-6 against the spread. Total for the season, 48-27 overall, and 41-34 against the Vegas line. Go Dolphins.
