Seth Rollins Beats Triple H at WWE WrestleMania 33 in Non-Sanctioned Match
The student triumphed over the teacher Sunday at WrestleMania 33, as Seth Rollins defeated Triple H in a non-sanctioned match.
The end for Triple H came when he inadvertently bumped into his wife, Stephanie McMahon, when she was standing on the apron. The impact knocked her off the apron and onto a table that was set up outside the ring.
Triple H took his eye off the ball, and as he turned his attention to Rollins, he received a kick to the gut and a Pedigree.

WrestleMania showed Rollins after he picked up the win:
According to WWE Stats & Info, Triple H hadn't lost consecutive WrestleMania matches since 2011 and 2012.
Bleacher Report's Dave Schilling thought the finish of the match told a great story:
Uproxx's Brandon Stroud is hopeful WWE doesn't undercut Sunday night's result in the weeks to come:
ProWrestling.net's Will Pruett tweeted how taking dangerous bumps ran in the family after McMahon's tumble onto the table:
Due to a knee injury, Rollins was only permitted to compete at WrestleMania if he agreed to sign a hold harmless agreement.
By doing so, he absolved Triple H and WWE of any responsibility in the event of further injuring himself at The Showcase of Immortals.
The issues between Rollins and The Game are deeply rooted dating back to a Fatal 4-Way on Raw for the Universal Championship last summer.
Triple H interfered in that match, but instead of helping Rollins, he took out both The Architect and Roman Reigns to essentially hand the title to Kevin Owens.
Rollins was previously Triple H's handpicked face of the company, and they worked together to garner Rollins a lengthy and successful run with the WWE Championship.
The former Shield member was forced to relinquish the title upon injuring his knee, however, and the King of Kings was no longer on his side upon returning.
That became apparent in the Universal Championship Fatal 4-Way, and Rollins made it his stated goal to get revenge on Triple H.
Things went awry for Rollins in the weeks leading up to WWE Fastlane, though, when Triple H enlisted Samoa Joe to take him out. That resulted in Rollins reinjuring his knee, and it put his WrestleMania status in doubt.
Rollins rehabbed vigorously to the point where he could confront Triple H, but the Cerebral Assassin put his former protege down once again by hitting him in the knee with his own crutch.
After a doctor appeared on Raw and said he wouldn't clear Rollins to compete, Triple H came up with the idea for an unsanctioned match (a la his street fight) against Shawn Michaels at SummerSlam 2002.
At the hold harmless agreement signing, Triple H did little to hide the fact that he intended to put Rollins back on the shelf, according to WWE's official Twitter account:
An impassioned Rollins discussed the importance of the match, including the need to find himself again and become the person he was prior to getting involved with Triple H.
Per WWE Universe on Twitter, Rollins insisted that signing the agreement was about something even bigger than WrestleMania itself:
The non-sanctioned aspect of Sunday's match was perfect for Rollins and Triple H since they needed to settle their rivalry with a fight rather than a wrestling affair.
Few feuds in wrestling have been more personal than the one between Rollins and Triple H, and that was apparent based on the way they went at it on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
Now that Rollins has finally conquered the person who held him down for so long, he figures to have an opportunity to get himself back in the Universal Championship picture moving forward.
