Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Washington will have already begun formulating a draft plan prior to McCloughan's departure and may not deviate too much from that with him gone.
Should Washington begin looking for a new general manager now, the interview and hiring process would likely leave the GM with only a few weeks to discuss their ideas with the team's scouts and front office.
Especially considering Washington has 10 total picks, going into the draft with an agreed-upon strategy will be even more important for the team. Scrambling to hire McCloughan's successor before the draft gets underway April 27 would almost certainly prevent that from happening.
