Real Madrid Transfer News: Cristiano Ronaldo Claim Amid Eden Hazard Rumours
Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly does not want Los Blancos to sign Chelsea forward Eden Hazard, Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann or Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti in the summer.
According to Diario Gol (via the Express' Dan Gibbs), Ronaldo has named the trio as players Real should not sign as he "is keen to retain his highly regarded status in the Spanish capital."
He reportedly does not wish to have to share his mantle as the club's undisputed superstar, while his objection to the pursuit of Hazard will be a particular blow to manager Zinedine Zidane and president Florentino Perez, per Gibbs.

Both have been reported as being interested in snapping up the Belgian, with one scenario being that Real would offer Chelsea Alvaro Morata in part-exchange to sweeten the deal, per Mundo Deportivo (via The Sun's Sam Street).
Signing Hazard, 26, would make a lot of sense for Real.
He has returned to his best in 2016-17 under Blues manager Antonio Conte and has been arguably the Premier League's most devastating attacker:
Hazard's style of play is not dissimilar to Ronaldo's. The Belgium international most regularly starts on the left flank but has free rein to cut inside and attack the goal, while he can also play as a No. 9 if needs be.
Ronaldo is still performing brilliantly for Real—he has netted 19 goals and provided five assists in 22 La Liga appearances this season, per WhoScored.com—but at 32 years old, he is nearing the end of his prime.
Hazard could slot in seamlessly to Zidane's Real squad as Ronaldo's successor, and he and Gareth Bale, 27, could likely work well together on opposite sides of the Los Blancos attack.
However, it seems the Portuguese star himself is not keen for a competitor to join the club in the summer.
It is hardly surprising given the arrival of Hazard at the Santiago Bernabeu would likely spell the beginning of the end for Ronaldo's superlative Real career.
