March Madness 2017: Breaking Down Sunday's 2nd-Round Schedule and Odds
Although the NCAA tournament seemingly just started, half of the Sweet 16 is already set and the other half will be settled by the end of Sunday.
The high seeds mostly survived the first round on Friday, which was boring for some expecting crazy upsets, but it also leaves quality matchups throughout the end of the second round. The slate of games is littered with top programs, future NBA stars and elite teams that will create an exciting brand of basketball.
There should be close games throughout the day and even a few upsets that could shake up the entire tournament.

Potential Upsets
No. 2 Louisville vs. No. 7 Michigan
Michigan's win over Oklahoma State was one of the most exciting games of the first round, featuring non-stop baskets in a 92-91 win.
The Wolverines were unstoppable from the outside:
There is obvious downside in needing 16 three-pointers to win such a close game, especially considering Louisville's defense will make finding open shots much tougher. However, Michigan is on an incredible run in recent weeks.
By now you have likely heard about the plane crash the team went through before winning four games in a row in the Big Ten tournament. This was a good story, but the reality is this team has been playing well for longer with 11 wins in the last 13 games, mostly against quality opponents.
Derrick Walton is a senior point guard playing as well as he ever has, while added balance and improved defense also helped. Big men Moritz Wagner and D.J. Wilson have helped on both areas.
Louisville has the length and athleticism to make it difficult for Michigan to score, but the Wolverines have improved so much in recent weeks that they can pull off the upset even without their recent hot shooting.
No. 2 Kentucky vs. No. 10 Wichita State
Based on analytics, this could be an Elite Eight game instead of the second round.
KenPom.com lists Kentucky as the No. 5 team in the country and Wichita State as No. 7. While the selection committee wasn't going to give a Shockers team without any real elite wins a top-two seed, they likely still deserved better than the No. 10 they received.
"[They're] like a four-seed, like a four- or five-seed maybe," Dayton coach Archie Miller said after his team's 64-58 loss," per Myron Medcalf of ESPN.com.
Although Wichita State doesn't have the go-to options it has had in the past like Ron Baker and Fred VanVleet, this is a deep team that consistently uses 10 players in the rotation and plays excellent defense. Anyone can carry the squad on a given night.
This isn't the case with Kentucky, which mostly relies on the backcourt scoring of Malik Monk and De'Aaron Fox. When these players aren't hitting their shots, like Monk's struggles in Friday's nine-point win over Northern Kentucky, it can lead to trouble.
Meanwhile, the squad that mostly uses only around seven players each game could see some fatigue with a quick turnaround to Sunday afternoon.
The Wildcats' athleticism and playmaking ability could be enough to survive with a win, but the game should be close throughout.
No. 2 Duke vs. No. 7 South Carolina
Despite a rough patch in the middle of the season, Duke is clearly a national title contender.
Luke Kennard has become an elite scorer while Jayson Tatum is quickly climbing the list of the most talented players in all of college basketball. Although Grayson Allen hasn't had the season many expected, he has become a valuable commodity off the bench as of late.
There is a reason this squad beat North Carolina, Louisville and Notre Dame en route to an ACC title.
However, South Carolina should not be overlooked with the athleticism necessary to stick with Duke's guards. Sindarius Thornwell is also one of the most underrated players in the country after averaging 21.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game during the season. He finished with 29 points and 11 rebounds in the 20-point opening win over Marquette.
Of course, one of the most important factors in this game will be the location.
While Duke is used to having plenty of fans at any neutral-court game, playing in Greenville, South Carolina will give an advantage to the Gamecocks. If the Blue Devils fall behind early, it can turn into almost a true road game.
It might not be enough to complete the upset, but South Carolina should keep the margin within a few points.
