Jordan Henderson out with Foot Injury Until After International Break
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed midfielder Jordan Henderson will be out of action until after the upcoming international break due to the foot injury he suffered in February.
Henderson has failed to feature in the Reds' last three matches, and Klopp told the club's official website his captain is set for at least another fortnight on the sidelines following Sunday's 2-1 win over Burnley:
"No chance. The [international] break, these two weeks, hopefully – it’s what we hope - can bring him back, but there’s no game possible in this time.
That’s how it is. He cannot train, he for sure cannot play against City and it makes sense that he is doing the rehab. Hopefully he can run in the second week of the international break and then we have to see.

The blow means England manager Gareth Southgate won't be able to call upon Henderson for the upcoming friendly against Germany on March 22 or a 2018 World Cup qualifier against Lithuania four days later.
From a club perspective, the injury also means Henderson won't be available for Liverpool's away trip to Manchester City next Sunday before the Reds enjoy a two-week respite during the international break.
The side's engine room looks to be coping in its leader's absence at least, with midfielders Georginio Wijnaldum and Emre Can scoring the crucial goals in Sunday's close beating of Burnley.
While Klopp has given some indication as to when Henderson will return, Squawka's Greg Johnson hinted at the improvements Liverpool's captain could make to take his game to the next level:
With only two months of the season remaining, Klopp will undoubtedly be keen to draft his captain back into the lineup in the hopes he can have a positive impact in reviving any hopes of climbing the Premier League table.
Following next Sunday's fixture at Manchester City, Liverpool won't be back in action until they host Everton on April 1, a match for which many Merseysiders would undoubtedly love to have their leader back.
The Reds cemented their place in fourth following Sunday's win, pulling them within one point of Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, and fans may wonder what the side is capable of once Henderson makes his return.
