Recap
Lukaku's goal was the third in a one-sided win for Everton, who dealt well with WBA's antics for 90 minutes and made the most of their chances.
The visitors did their best to get under the Toffees' skin, but Kevin Mirallas' much-needed opener late in the first half settled some nerves. Morgan Schneiderlin added to the lead soon after, and per the Premier League's official Twitter account, it marked his first for Everton:
Ross Barkley was Everton's standout performer and probably deserved a goal for his magnificent outing, but it was Lukaku who instead found the net to complete the scoreline.
The former Chelsea man enjoyed a fine afternoon at Goodison Park and headed home inside the final 10 minutes.
Team-mate Yannick Bolasie was happy with the performance of his team:
Manchester United won't be in action this weekend in the Premier League, as they face Chelsea in the FA Cup.
Elsewhere, Oumar Niasse bagged a brace in Hull's win over Swansea City, prompting this tweet from ESPN FC's Iain Macintosh:
The Senegal international has been the Tigers' saviour on plenty of occasions since his arrival in the January transfer window, and things were no different against a staunch Swansea defence. The Welsh side added some late drama after Alfie Mawson pulled one back, but time ran out on their comeback.
In Bournemouth, the Cherries and Hammers served up a wild encounter, with Joshua King scoring three times and missing a penalty. Team-mate Benik Afobe also missed from the spot.
Michail Antonio and Andre Ayew scored for the visitors.
