Margus Hunt, Indianapolis Colts Agree to 2-Year Contract
Following four underwhelming seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, Margus Hunt will try to boost his stock with the Indianapolis Colts. The team announced the two sides agreed to terms on Monday.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported it's a two-year deal.
A native of Estonia who played his college ball at SMU, Hunt was a surprising second-round selection when the Bengals were on the clock at No. 53 overall four years ago.

However, Hunt was sold as a project who would take time to develop before he paid dividends as a potential 6'8'' pass-rushing machine.
As it turns out, Hunt was never able to parlay his tremendous physical prowess into sustained production in Cincinnati.
In his first four years with the Bengals, the 29-year-old posted just 1.5 sacks and 28 total tackles along with three defended passes. Pro Football Focus' Sam Monson noted how little Hunt has seen the field in his NFL career:
The Colts ranked 13th in adjusted sack rate in 2016, according to Football Outsiders, but Robert Mathis retired and Erik Walden—the team leader in sacks last season—remains a free agent.
Hunt will provide Indianapolis will some much-needed depth off the edge. Based on NFL production to date, though, expectations should understandably be tempered as Hunt transitions to life in new surroundings.
