LeBron James Jr. Dazzles at John Lucas All-Star Weekend
LeBron James Jr. has the burden of carrying his iconic father's name, but Prince James has the skills to carve out his own legacy.
The 12-year-old, who already has standing scholarship offers from Duke and Kentucky, put on a clinic during this past weekend's John Lucas All-Star Weekend.
Like his father, James Jr. shows exceptional court vision. Few highlight reels from a pre-teen feature so many pinpoint passes, which wasn't lost on his dad.
Per the Cleveland Plain-Dealer's Chris Fedor, the Cleveland Cavaliers icon identified passing as "probably the best part of his game." He also claimed that his son is more advanced as a shooter and ball-handler than he was at that age:
It's one thing if LaVar Ball says any of his kids could single-handedly beat the Monstars blindfolded, but this is one of the greatest basketball players of all time offering a scouting report.
It's irresponsible to wonder if a kid will mature into a future Hall of Famer—or whether he'll even decide to pursue a professional basketball career—so let's just say the young James is better at basketball than most fellow adolescents.
