Joe Hart 'Happy to Stay' at Torino Amid Manchester City Talk, Says Urbano Cairo
According to Sky Sports' Nick Lustig, Cairo said: "We have an excellent relationship with him. He is happy to stay in Turin and we can work on it. It depends on [Manchester] City, but I think Hart would be happy to remain. We'll see what City have in mind and want to do."
Hart is spending the season on loan at Torino after being ushered out the door at the Etihad Stadium by manager Pep Guardiola upon his arrival last summer.

Per ESPN FC's Jonathan Smith, the Spaniard has appeared to rule out the possibility of Hart returning to City, saying he is "so happy with Willy [Caballero] and Claudio [Bravo]."
Hart appears to have settled in well in Serie A and was pictured alongside Andrea Belotti on Monday's cover of Tuttosport, per football writer James Horncastle:
Il Toro are not the best defensively and only four teams—Cagliari, Palermo, Crotone and Pescara—have let in more than their 43 goals, and Hart has made the occasional mistake, but the Englishman has had a reasonably good season overall.
Here are some of the highlights:
In contrast, his replacement at the Etihad, Bravo, has so far been a fairly disastrous signing from Barcelona, and he's been entirely unable to replicate the form that made him so reliable at the Camp Nou.
Even the Chilean's footwork—which seemed to be the primary attribute that elevated him above Hart in Guardiola's eyes—has only been marginally better than Hart's, as he boasts 74 per cent distribution accuracy to Hart's 71, according to Squawka.
Former Manchester Evening News editor Peter Spencer has seen nothing to suggest he is a better option than Hart:
Football journalist Shane Burns believes both players should be moved on to fund the purchase of a new No. 1:
"By renewing Willy Caballero's contract by one season, selling Hart and Bravo, City could end up paying virtually nothing for Ederson at €40m
— Shane Burns (@MediaShaneBurns) February 24, 2017"
Guardiola may give Bravo another season to prove himself at City, but it seems Hart's career there is over, and he'll need to find a permanent home this summer.
The 29-year-old may have more options this year than he did last time out as he'll have more time to find a club, but he could well opt to stay with Torino, who appear to be more than happy to keep him.
