Huston Street out 3-4 Weeks with Lat Injury
The Los Angeles Angels' bullpen has taken a hit with closer Huston Street suffering a lat strain during Friday's spring training game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Per Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times, Angels general manager Billy Eppler announced Street's injury and it's expected the right-handed pitcher "will not throw for 3-4 weeks."
The Angels open the regular season in just over four weeks, on April 3 against the Oakland Athletics, putting Street's status for Opening Day in jeopardy.

After leaving Friday's game with what was called triceps irritation, Maria Guardado of MLB.com reported Street was due to undergo an MRI that would determine the extent of the damage.
Angels manager Mike Scioscia described to Guardado the situation that led to Street being removed from the game:
"One pitch, he kind of looked like he was moving his arm a little bit. Then he threw another pitch and it looked like there was discomfort. Obviously there's concern whenever a pitcher -- same with Bud Norris -- whenever they walk off, but we're not going to overreact. We'll just see where they are when we get some information from the medical department.
"
The Angels already have pitching questions coming into the season. Garrett Richards only made six starts in 2016 due to an elbow problem that required surgery. Meanwhile, Tyler Skaggs has made a total of 28 starts since 2014.
Street is looking for a rebound season after posting a career-worst 6.45 ERA, with 31 hits allowed and just 14 strikeouts in 22.1 innings last season. He is penciled in as the team's closer, though 25-year-old Cam Bedrosian could handle the role after posting a 1.12 ERA with 51 strikeouts in 2016.
