Real Madrid Transfer News: Sergio Aguero Addresses Manchester City Exit Rumours
Sergio Aguero has said that while it is his "intention is to remain" at Manchester City, it is up to the club to decide on his future. The Argentinian added, "in June they will have to meet with me."
Aguero's future at the Etihad Stadium has been questioned recently after he was usurped by Gabriel Jesus as City's first-choice striker before the young Brazilian picked up an injury, and Real Madrid have been linked with the Sky Blues' No. 10, per the Manchester Evening News' James Robson.
The 28-year-old—whose contract with City runs to 2019—said he is not thinking about a move to Real or anywhere else but indicated the Manchester outfit will need to make firm their position with him come the summer, per Onda Cero (via ESPN FC's Adriana Garcia):

"I'm not thinking about Madrid or any other [clubs]. My only focus is on playing. I have three months left to give my best. I don't want to think about my future. My intention is to remain but we shall see what happens in June. I hope that we can win a title which is the most important thing.
One thing is what the club says and another what the club tells me. The club can say what it wants but in June they will have to meet with me.

Argentinian Aguero has been arguably City's best player since he joined the club from Atletico Madrid in 2011.
Per Luke Brown in The Independent, he has netted a total of 156 goals in 237 appearances for the Sky Blues, a tally to match almost any other striker in the world.
There are few clubs in Europe that Aguero would not improve. However, upon the arrival of Jesus in January, the 19-year-old briefly replaced Aguero in Guardiola's starting XI before he suffered a nasty foot injury.
Aguero has returned to the fold in typically lethal fashion, netting four goals and providing two assists in City's last two outings.

Per Robson's report, City are "adamant they do not want to sell" Aguero, and they will demand a potentially world-record fee should any club move to sign him up.
It seems clear that Aguero himself is eager to seek assurances about his position at the club as he is unlikely to be willing to share the striker role with Jesus given he could demand a starting position at almost any other club in the world.
Given the fee attached to Aguero, there are only a handful of clubs who could afford to buy him.
One of those is Real, who would surely be the likely destination for Aguero were he to depart City, as the Manchester outfit would be loath to sell him on to another Premier League club.
