Wednesday Recap
Barca's dreams of retaining their La Liga crown were boosted as they defeated Sporting and Madrid dropped points, but the triumph was bittersweet as Luis Enrique announced his intention to leave the Catalan giants after three seasons.
The hosts were 3-0 up in 27 minutes after a Lionel Messi header, an own goal from Juan Rodriguez and a Luis Suarez strike that killed the contest.

Carlos Castro pulled one back for the visitors in the first half, but Suarez grabbed his brace with a magnificent volley.
Paco Alcacer, Neymar and Ivan Rakitic completed the hammering as the champions regained the advantage in the race for the title.
Madrid almost sank after taking the lead through Isco against Las Palmas, with Bale seeing red as the Welshman lost his head. The attacker needlessly kicked out and reacted aggressively, giving the referee no choice but to send him off, triggering a collapse in the Spanish capital.

Tana had equalised immediately after Isco's opener, and second-half strikes from the visitors shocked the Bernabeu. Jonathan Viera's penalty and Kevin-Prince Boateng's cool finish made it 3-1.
Las Palmas were good for their lead as Real suffered without Bale, but the hosts left it late as they scored twice in the final four minutes. Ronaldo grabbed both goals—a penalty and a header—as manager Zinedine Zidane appeared relieved in the technical area.
In the night's other matches, Villarreal thrashed Osasuna 4-1, as goals from Roberto Soriano, Roberto Soldado and a quick-fire brace from Rafael Santos Borre made the result a formality.
Celta Vigo and Espanyol couldn't be separated after all four goals were scored in the first half.

Iago Aspas gave the hosts the lead after 21 minutes, but Gerard Moreno equalised seven minutes later. Celta immediately replied to reclaim the lead through Daniel Wass, but it was 2-2 just two minutes later as Pablo Piatti scored. Andreu Fontas saw a second yellow on the stroke of half-time, and the teams could not produce another goal after the interval.
Granada won a vital game against Alaves, winning 2-1 at the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes. Mubarak Wakaso and Isaac Cuenca gave the hosts a two-goal advantage before Víctor Camarasa replied.
There were 25 goals scored across five games in La Liga on Wednesday, but it was a bittersweet night for Barca after a fine victory was followed by the shocking news of their manager's intended departure.
Madrid appeared jaded in their encounter, and Bale's decision to react badly on the pitch could have long-term ramifications for the club's title hopes.
Real hold a game in hand against their main title rivals and are now one point behind Barca in the race.
