EPL Table: 2017 Week 26 Standings After Sunday's Premier League Scores
Tottenham Hotspur moved up to second in the Premier League table after beating Stoke City 4-0 at White Hart Lane on Sunday. A Harry Kane hat-trick, plus a goal from Dele Alli, helped Spurs go above Manchester City and close the gap on leaders Chelsea to 10 points.
Spurs and Stoke were the only teams from England's top flight in action on Sunday, as Manchester United and Southampton's meeting in the 2017 EFL Cup final disrupted the fixtures somewhat.
The final meant neither City nor Arsenal were in action, affording Tottenham a great chance to strengthen their bid for a top-four finish. It was an opportunity the north London side enthusiastically seized.

Recap
Stoke stayed 10th despite being on the receiving end of a battering at the Lane. The Potters will be glad to see the back of Kane after the England international was in superb form.
Kane struck a first-half hat-trick, including one from the penalty spot, as Tottenham's pace and movement left the visitors baffled. The striker dovetailed superbly with Alli and playmaker Christian Eriksen, while Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama held things together in midfield, ensuring the Potters never had a chance to break.
Kane was the star, but Eriksen also played a key role, displaying the vision and guile so important to the way Spurs build attacks. The cerebral Denmark international has become a prolific source of goals in England's top flight, according to Squawka Football:
Alli rounded things off in first-half stoppage time to complete a result all-too-familiar and equally depressing for Stoke fans, per BBC Match of the Day:
However, Tottenham's day wasn't without issues. Specifically, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino will be sweating over injuries suffered by a pair of key defenders, according to Tom Collomosse of the London Evening Standard:
Losing Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen could hinder Tottenham's chances of making the title race close over the final three months of the season. Defensive resolve is the core characteristic Pochettino has built this squad around.
Considering how many teams are vying to finish in the top four, Spurs have little margin for error. With games against seventh-placed Everton next Sunday and local rivals Arsenal in April, Pochettino will have to hope Tottenham's strength at the back is not diminished too much by this game.
