Daniel Sturridge Completes Loan Move to West Brom from Liverpool
West Bromwich Albion confirmed the loan signing of Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge on Monday, with the England international joining the club until the end of the season:
The 28-year-old has become something of a peripheral figure at Anfield recently under manager Jurgen Klopp, partly due to his consistent injury problems and also because of the excellent form of Roberto Firmino in the No. 9 role—supported brilliantly by Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

Sturridge was limited to just seven Premier League starts in 2016-17, and he has made only five in the current campaign.
It has seemed inevitable for some time he would look to earn more game time elsewhere, particularly with the 2018 FIFA World Cup on the horizon.
He has now been snapped up by the Baggies, with whom he should be granted more first-team action than he has been used to of late at Liverpool.
Sturridge is a natural goalscorer and proved with his 21-goal haul for the Reds in the 2013-14 Premier League season he can net consistently at the highest level.
West Brom will hope he can return to the same devastating form he enjoyed while playing alongside Luis Suarez at Anfield.
Sturridge should be hugely motivated as he aims to earn a spot in Gareth Southgate's England squad for the World Cup in Russia.
He will be eager to prove he is still a top-level forward and will surely relish a run of games in the starting XI under Baggies manager Alan Pardew.
For their part, Liverpool and their fans will look for Sturridge to flourish at the Hawthorns and return to Anfield rejuvenated at the end of his loan spell.
