Deontay Wilder Would Box Brock Lesnar, Says His Brother Would Top Conor McGregor
WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder has picked out former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar as the MMA fighter he would most like to take on in the boxing ring.
The 31-year-old American also slammed Conor McGregor's boxing ability after the Irishman received his boxing license, saying, "My brother could beat him," per TMZ Sports.
Asked about who he would like to take on in a crossover fight, Wilder eschewed the choice of Jon Jones, instead picking out Lesnar, 39, despite the size difference between the pair, per TMZ Sports:
"I'd go straight to Brock Lesnar. Why not? It's just size [290 lbs vs. 227 lbs]. Size doesn't mean anything—not all the time. It does take a little bit of skill and a little bit of will. And it takes a little bit of heart and a little bit of determination, and all that's a recipe. So I think [Lesnar] would be way too muscular. And when you're muscular like that, you knock off your flexibility.

Wilder has held his WBC title since January 2015, most recently defending the belt against Chris Arreola in July.
He remains unbeaten in 37 professional fights and is eager to take on IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua if the Englishman can down veteran Wladimir Klitschko in April 2017, per ESPN's Dan Rafael:
McGregor's receiving his boxing license has ignited further speculation about a potential $100 million (£80 million) fight with the currently retired Floyd Mayweather Jr., per BBC Sport. It has also opened up plenty of speculation about cross-discipline clashes.
A Wilder vs. Lesnar bout would be a unique occasion, although it seems a highly unlikely prospect.
