Liverpool vs. West Ham United: Jurgen Klopp's Key Pre-Match Presser Comments
Daniel Sturridge is unhappy at Liverpool, according to Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.
The German said as much during his press conference ahead of Sunday's match with West Ham United at Anfield. Klopp revealed he did not know when the striker would be fit to return from a calf injury, per the Liverpool Echo's James Pearce:

Sturridge has been fit for most of the campaign this year but has played just 495 minutes, with Klopp favouring the dynamic and hard-working front three of Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane.
Klopp also defended Loris Karius after the goalkeeper's mistakes contributed to Liverpool losing 4-3 at Bournemouth on Sunday having twice been two goals ahead.
According to the Mirror's Rory Brigstock-Barron, he said:
"I only heard about that criticism was very hard, when we analysed the game I found 8 players who could have defended the goal better.
Even the best goalkeepers in the world still make mistakes, it’s all up to you it’s not up to me.
There’s no perfect recipe for development but shut your ears, close your ears, helps a lot.
"
Per Pearce on Twitter, the Liverpool manager added:
Klopp is confident the Reds will learn from their mistakes against the Cherries, though, per Brigstock-Barron: "We were 3-1 up made one bad pass... all the goals could have been defended easily, but we didn’t do it. It’s always good when you know you are responsible yourself because you can change it."
Indeed, he believes the game will help them defend leads better, according to Pearce:
Klopp also looked forward to the clash with the Hammers, per Liverpool's official Twitter feed:
West Ham find themselves in 17th place just one point above the relegation zone and are winless in five games.
The former Borussia Dortmund boss is expecting counterpart Slaven Bilic to name a strong side:
Indeed, Bilic said as much in his column for the Evening Standard, in which he confirmed former Liverpool striker Andy Carroll is among the injured players who could be returning for the game.
If Carroll plays, it will be fascinating to see how Karius and the Reds defence handle his physicality and aerial presence.
Bilic will be looking for a response after seeing his side humiliated 5-1 by Arsenal last time out, but so will Liverpool as they look to bounce back from their defeat to Bournemouth.
The Hammers have conceded 29 goals this season—better only than Swansea City—while Liverpool are the league's top scorers with 35. Even if West Ham can avoid being torn apart as they were by the Gunners, it's difficult to see them keeping the Reds out.
