Tottenham Transfer News: Latest on Moussa Sissoko and Memphis Depay Rumours
Moussa Sissoko's brief stay at Tottenham Hotspur could be coming to an abrupt end after it emerged Juventus and Inter Milan are monitoring the France international's situation at White Hart Lane.
According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport (h/t TalkSport), the Serie A giants are "keeping tabs" on the midfielder after his unsuccessful stint in London. The player joined Spurs from Newcastle United in a £30 million deal only four months ago, but he has failed to make an impact in the first team.
Mauricio Pochettino recently criticised Sissoko after his team's 2-1 defeat against Chelsea.

According to Matt Barlow of Mail Online, Pochettino was frank in his assessment of the former Magpie.
"He [Sissoko] was at home, he wasn't here," said the Spurs boss. "Football is not about money. You need to show on the training ground you are better than another team-mate and you deserve to be involved."
The manager added: "He [Sissoko] needs to work hard and to show in future that he deserves to be on the team."
Sissoko is a member of a group of Spurs players yearning for first-team opportunities, but he has failed to progress after impressing at UEFA Euro 2016.

The 27-year-old could be allowed to leave as soon as January, per Corriere dello Sport, escaping to Italy to start afresh.
The Frenchman has made 10 appearances for the Lilywhites in the Premier League and UEFA Champions League this term but has failed to register a goal or an assist, per WhoScored.com.
888sport believe Tottenham supporters might be happy to see the back of the player:
In other news, Feyenoord winger Eljero Elia has said Memphis Depay should have rejected a move to Manchester United from PSV Eindhoven last year and chosen a "club like Tottenham."
Depay has struggled to capture his best form since his transfer to Old Trafford, and the winger's Netherlands team-mate believes Spurs would have been a more appropriate destination for the attacker, according to Mark Brus of Metro.
Elia said:
"I thought Memphis first had to make a stop, first choose a club like Tottenham Hotspur.
United are so big, the pressure is so high. He had to immediately make an impact at such a club, while everyone would watch him.
Memphis accepted my opinion, but said, "I’ll try to give my all and I’m confident that I can succeed there."
"

Sissoko appeared an expensive capture after leaving relegated Newcastle in the summer, and his fee was undoubtedly inflated due to his impressive performances for France.
The midfielder did not consistently inspire his team last term, leading to the Magpies falling into the Championship after a bitter campaign.
Sissoko was supposed to bring power and knowledge to Spurs' core, but there have always been question marks against his talent during his time in England.
He is a useful individual to have in a matchday squad, but he has suffered with a lack of motivation in the past and does not appear to have the fire in his belly to change Pochettino's recent opinions.
